Many stations lack reliable fixed-line broadband. Communication and surveillance systems at unmanned halts must operate on cellular backhaul with local failover storage.
A single junction station may require 50–200 cameras covering platforms, foot-overbridges, parking, and entry gates — all managed from a centralised NVR with 30-day retention.
Platform announcements must integrate with the train management system for automated, accurate, and multilingual departure/arrival broadcasts — reducing manual announcer workload.
Our engineers understand the specific demands of the railway sector. Let's design a solution that fits your scale, budget, and compliance requirements.
Free passenger Wi-Fi is a mandate at A1 and A category stations. Bandwidth must be fairly distributed across thousands of simultaneous users without degrading the operational network.
We supply RDSO-approved equipment from registered OEMs for surveillance and networking applications. All camera and NVR specifications comply with the Railway Board circular on IP-based CCTV systems. We can supply equipment on GeM as well as through direct tender quotation.
The Railway Board mandates a minimum 30-day retention for platform cameras. We design NVR storage with 25% capacity headroom above the minimum. For Class-A stations, we implement redundant NVRs with RAID-5 storage to prevent loss of evidence in case of a drive failure.
